I've gotten the final word - this blog is going to have to be restored one photo at a time (which Thomas has generously offered to do) then I will immediately have it made into a book!
So, as requested, I have created a new blog. It's bare bones...I'll get to it a little at a time.

If this one is working and accessible, and if Thomas is going to all the work of reloading the photos, why not just continue here? Though your new blog name is pretty snazzy.
