Cancer update

I have had some requests for an update on my mom....here it is.
She has one more chemo treatment to go.
Her body has responded beautifly.
She looks great, feels "good enough" most days.
She feels this has been a great blessing in her life,
time to evaluate, time to learn, to grow.
Thank you for caring about my Mum :)

Playing Grandpa

Gavin loves Lane's cars.
Lately he's been lining them up on the edge of the sand box.
He's so careful with them.
I could kiss those cheeks all day :)

Miss Maddie is a pro walker now
and her hair has the cutest duck tail curls!

I love all that this picture implies

Our sweet Hudson who always has a bruise on his head...and lots of hugs!
There is nothing so soothing as
watching happy children play

Hugging them
Kissing them
Playing cars
Getting all sandy
Sharing God's creations

Happy Birthday Lane!

September 16, 2009

Happy Birthday to the love of my life,
the best thing that ever happened to me.
He completes me.
He adores me.
He pampers me.
I love this man!

I knew Lane was going to be working incredibly long hours on his birthday.
I gave Claire $20 and told her to buy as many balloons as she could
and take them to her dad.
(It's wonderful to have his office so close to Provo High!)

So, 27 balloons later, she and a bunch of our "other kids"
showed up and sang happy birthday.
He felt so celebrated, so loved.

It's a good thing he can take the top off!

THEN
Collin had the time of his life.
He held all the strings and bounced the balloons around him -
held them up - and laughed and laughed....

and then did it again

Remember that the next time you need to entertain a toddler!

Peaches

Our two little trees spread peachy love to lots of people.
Yummy!
There is something so right about picking your
breakfast off the tree!

Nords are moving :(

Chris and Amy are moving.
We will still see them
I know
but it won't be "quick drop off" convenient
and it won't be as often :(
We'll try to adjust

Abbie and Adelyn having a snooze on the couch

We got to babysit the bee hive while they showed their house...apparently having a bee hive in your back yard is NOT a big draw. We had fun with them, learned a ton about bees and will probably have our own when Chris' needs to be divided - Good hunny and lots of it!

She's getting so strong!
Love that baby!

And love her big brother!
(Notice Collin is wearing one of Claire's shoes :))
