Lane and I had a glorious weekend get away at Aspen Grove for our anniversary. The only draw back was the fact that Lane's phone died (which we were relying on for photo taking :( oh well)
Scott Anderson was the feature speaker for the marriage retreat we signed up for. I've heard him before, took an institute class from him 14 years ago. He's still wonderful :) he has a gift for bring the scriptures and life's situations together, teaching by the spirit, pausing to ponder before he goes on, saying something not in presentation but feeling like he needs to say it...and then that thing is just what we needed to hear!
The setting could not have been more beautiful. The leaves are at their peak of color. The air was crisp but not cold. It was perfect.
We are more in love every year. We learn more about each other every year. We are so grateful to share our days, nights, weeks, months, all the way into eternity. Being in love is wonderful.

Congrats to you both. We celebrate 20 years in October and I am so glad we made it work. I would be lost without him and he without me. We really rely on each other a lot.
I love to see you and Lane together. It is easy to see the love the two of you have for each other and your family.
