Abbie's Room

Adorable pink and green. It's a flower, butterfly, bunny type room. Very soft and soothing

Do NOT mistake it for a princess room, that bugs her!
It's definitely NOT a princess room...who decided a pink room was a "princess room" anyway?!?!

Beware, it's not white!

I think maybe it's an over 40 thing. Maybe I'm getting brave. As you know, all my walls have been white forever, only white, only one white, no contrast.
This is my office. One wall is yellow, ooh la la :-)
This is the color of the stair well and the entire basement, minus the bedrooms....coming next!
This is Claire's room. Isn't it great! One striped wall, black out curtains, glass stars that reflect the light, each wall a different color.
I love it!
More to come. As soon as Stephen leaves, I'm painting his room and ours. I can't wait! Except for maybe a tax return to fund it all.

Loving Nature

It's been a long time since we moved to Utah but the seasons never cease to amaze and bring joy and delight. Watching our children rediscover natures beauty from a new, older, more experienced perspective as well as all the firsts for Lucy makes the seasons just that much more wonderful. Currently
my bulbs are poking their leaves out of the thawing ground. God has indeed created a beautiful earth for us. This year we've actually had some really great snow. The cold without the snow isn't nearly so magic, just cold, but playing in the snow, hearing the hush over the city, everything blanketed in white, all the branches heavy with snow, ahhh, it's glorious!

These trail pictures are on the Provo River Trail that is literally less than a mile walk from our house, once on the trail you can walk for miles and miles, listening to the water, it is serene. A wonderful place to see natures changes.
